21st June | the looooongest day!

So today is the longest day of the year in our part of the world! And in Scotland it is really long!!
Imagine Fajir (sunrise prayer) at 1:30 am and Isha’a(evening prayer) at 11:15 pm! I wonder if there is someone who can fast today? =)
Anyways…
Enjoy the day!

You might be having the longest day but in Australia we are having the shortest day.
It was dark at 5 pm tonight. Enjoy it while it lasts!

it sure is amazing how different parts of the world are experiencing such extremes...subhan'Allah!(Glory be to God!)
well, just yesterday i found out that every year thousands of people visit stonehenge in england to watch the sunrise on this special day (21st june) to celebrate the summer solstice. stonehenge is a fascinating place with stone structures that some say were built even before the pyramids and they're associated with the druids...i might have my facts a bit mixed up so please check out the following link if you're interested to find out more:
